About Us

At Socials by Hols, we’re passionate about helping brands connect and thrive in the fast-paced world of social media. My journey started with a love for creativity, connection, and a fascination with how social media can transform businesses. While working in dynamic environments like restaurants and dental practices, I developed strong organisational and problem-solving skills, but my true passion was always in social media.

 

That passion inspired me to dive into social media marketing and pursue advanced training as a Social Media Marketing Manager. I also completed a variety of specialised courses to expand my expertise in content creation, strategy, analytics, and advertising. My first client was a local business just starting out, and together, we built a social media presence that transformed their audience engagement. They went from no followers to selling out every class they offered, with customers travelling hours to attend.

 

Seeing the incredible impact of thoughtful strategy and authentic content was a defining moment that inspired me to create Socials by Hols - a business dedicated to helping brands tell their stories and connect with their audiences. I have worked with a local small business to develop tailored social media strategies and create engaging content that aligns with their branding. Starting with no existing audience, I helped grow their Instagram following by over 1,000 within a year.

 

Through carefully planned marketing strategies, I created posts and scheduled content that consistently sold out their pottery and ceramics classes within days of being advertised. My efforts expanded the business’s reach significantly, attracting customers travelling over multiple hours to attend their events.

 

Additionally, I guided the business owner in navigating their social media account and implementing effective marketing strategies to maintain long-term growth and engagement.

I completed the 'Social Media Marketing & Management Masterclass (Udemy)' as my first ever course for Social Media Marketing.

This comprehensive masterclass covered advanced social media management techniques for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more. I gained expertise in creating platform-specific strategies, analysing key performance metrics, and staying ahead of emerging trends to maximise audience engagement and business growth.

I completed the 'Social Media Content Creation: Canva Beginner to Advanced (Udemy)' to learn about content creation to improve my knowledge and skills.

Through this course, I mastered the use of Canva to create professional, branded visuals for social media. I learned how to design visually cohesive feeds, craft eye-catching graphics, and enhance the overall aesthetic of brands to captivate audiences and elevate their online presence.

October 2023 - Present

Mock Social Media Campaigns

I designed and curated Instagram grids, posts, captions and brand identities for pretend companies to showcase my creativity and strategic thinking in social media marketing. Using tools like Canva and Photoshop, I created visually appealing social media feeds and accounts tailored to unique brand aesthetics and identities. These projects highlight my skills in content creation, caption writing, and brand development while demonstrating my ability to adapt to diverse industries.

November 2024 - December 2024

'Social Media Geniuses Advanced Training Course'

Completed in December 2024, this was the most comprehensive and impactful course I’ve taken in my social media marketing journey. It provided me with a full understanding of social media marketing and awarded me a professional qualification. The training covered advanced strategies for creating high-performing campaigns, analysing audience behaviour, leveraging data insights, and managing multiple platforms effectively. This course has been instrumental in shaping my expertise and confidence in delivering results-driven social media solutions.
